I probably should have said in my last email that the spider [it was a fake] came from Grant Puckett’s place…otherwise someone might get the wrong idea.Yes it was Grant that put the fake spider in!

Just a quick word on the night and to say how successful it was with one or two exceptions.
To see such a spread of Eagles covering many years/eras was great.A whole heap of Oldies [better not say Bald[ing] Eagles eh] and a heap of new Eaglets.
All in the same flock,mixing well together!
I was though disappointed with finding a spider in my beer,and the bar staff laughing when I took it to them, and then not replacing by bottle,even though it was nearly all gone…….
