LL Major – Jamies Jabber 8/11/09

Another great game in the heat against Adelaide witha big 16 – 8 win. The whole team played well again this week in the hot conditions. Jonah Byrnes started on the hill and went to his pitch limit and only conceided 3 runs. Griff Weber backed him up and finished off the game for us. Jarrod Miller had the catchers gear on all game which is a great effort in itself but he then also spent a lot of time running around the bases. A fantastic catch out at left field by Alex Martin saw him winning this weeks catch card and another long hit to Muzza saw him win the longest hit of the week award. I must make special mention to Lachy Eichner who got two sensational hits on the week end and his confidence is growing week by week. Well done Lachy!!!!! To the rest of the team WELL DONE you are all improving every game and you really are a great team to coach.Tim and I are pretty lucky to have such a great bunch of kids!!!! Staycool and see ya on Sunday @ 11 for a 12 o’clock start. Dont forget Norwood Oval Friday night for the new national league competition.
