Baseball returns to Norwood Oval

It is indeed an exciting time for Baseball in this state as for the first time in over a decade, Interstate Baseball returns to its spiritual home in South Australia, Norwood Oval. Over the next two months the South Australian Claxton Shield team will play its matches against the other states under lights at Norwood on Friday nights and Saturday nights. What a marvelous opportunity to see our club players represent the State at the very highest level in the country. Over the next few years who will we see rise to these ranks from our exciting crop of young baseballers as the Adelaide Giants return to the National stage as art of the newly revamped and MLB Bankrolled Australian Baseball League. On Wednesday 4 November at 7pm the SABL have a season launch at Norwood Oval to which everyone is invited. There will be give aways and Claxton Shield players in attendance, so why not slip down there after training tomorrow night?
