West Torrens will be well represented in the National Championships in January. Continuing a long tradition of producing representative baseballers, I can report that the Under 16 State side will have no less than 8 West Torrens boys in the squad of 19 traveling to Geelong early in the New Year. Congratulations to Thomas Dunn, Dylan Duval, Joel Ettridge, Bryce Fulton, Tom McGarry, Scott Miller, Nathan Vanderlinden and Nico Vanderlinden. Commiserations to James Batty who made it to the last hurdle, only to unluckily miss out on selection.
We also have a number of boys waiting to hear on the Under 14 and Under 18 squads that go to the Gold Coast and Geelong respectively.
