LL Minor – Ronnie’s wrap 25/10/09

Our under 12 minor side has 6 new first year players and, on behalf of the club I would like to welcome Luke Houston, Ethan D’angelo, Josh Lee, Jordan Warman, Oscar Mitton and Nathan Collins. They are all great and special characters that are showing their abilities and potentials to become very handy baseballers.

Unfortunately we have not had our first victory as yet and knowing what these young guys can do and what happened today wasn’t how the boys have been training.

Oscar Mitton showed some great spirit behind the plate for an inspiring first time effort. Jordan Warman started well and Brodie Nicol pitched very well not bad at all for a lad with his ankle in a cast.

Kyal Nicol and Patrick Mckone showed some small glimpses of what they can really do and Luke Houston gave it a good shot.

10 – 13 loss doesn’t really reflect the game but I do look forward to see this great bunch of kids develop into a good team.

I know they can!!!
